01_ Introduction
At Xyneris ("we," "our," or "us"), privacy is not a feature—it is the core foundation of our engineering. ZNinja is designed as a local-first application to ensure that your data remains under your control. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process information when you use our website and desktop application.
02_ Data We Collect
A. Website Analytics (Google Analytics)
To better understand how users interact with our landing page and documentation, we utilize Google Analytics. This tool collects standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
B. Technical Logs
Our desktop application may generate local logs for debugging purposes. These logs remain on your machine unless you explicitly share them with us for troubleshooting.
03_ AI Data Handling
ZNinja interacts with third-party AI providers (such as Google Gemini). When you enter a prompt, it is sent directly to the provider via their API. We do not intercept, store, or monitor these communications. Your interactions are governed by the privacy policy of the respective AI provider.
04_ Security Protocol
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your local data. On Windows, your API keys are encrypted using the Data Protection API (DPAPI), ensuring that they can only be decrypted by your Windows user account.
05_ Your Rights
Since we do not store your personal data on our servers, you can "delete" all your information simply by removing the application and clearing the local configuration files (usually located in%AppData%/zninja).
